Music is what we love — Menning Audio | Design is our passion
We are specialists in good sound. We have devoted ourselves entirely to the development and manufacture of tube amplifiers built around the 300B tube, and we offer a passive preamplifier fully matched to them. Our products are made in-house. For us this combination is the finest way to listen to music, and we want to pass our passion on to discerning music lovers.
Our products and our name stand for pure, richly detailed sound, wrapped in an understated, timeless and functional design.
Udo Menning
MENNING AUDIO | DESIGN stands for listening to music with passion. The founder and creative mind behind it is Udo Menning. His passions are electrical engineering and music. He brought the two together when he founded MENNING AUDIO | DESIGN, and it has become his life’s work. His passion, his ideas, his creativity and his skill are reflected in our products.
After my studies I started work as a qualified engineer in the electrical engineering industry. For more than 30 years I have been working as an electrical design engineer for various large corporations in Germany.
However, my real passion is the construction of audio equipment. Over time, I became especially interested in vacuum tube amplifiers. With the adage if it doesn’t glow, it doesn’t go… I founded my own company and designed my own product line of tube amplifiers.
With my amplifiers built of passion and enthusiasm, my goal is to give gratification to people who are passionate about listening to music.
